Facebook goes offline in UK, Sweden, Norway

London, Jan 14: The world's most favourite social networking website, Facbook, has been facing serious technical glitches that made the site offline for hours in many Western countries like United Kingdom, Norway and Sweden.

It is not clear if there is a security problem or something has gone wrong with the site's ever-growing infrastructure.

UK media reported that users facing problem in connecting to the site. Whenever they tried to connect, they are experiencing a white-out page that never loads. The same problem was showed on Apple iPhone Facebook app also.

The new access glitch came just two days after the hoax news of Facebook shutting down on Mar 15. Later, Facebook came out with a official confirmation that it's not planning to stop the business.
