Media leaks iPad 2 video; spots front camera

Las Vegas, Jan 13: Along with the heavy rains of Android tablets, rumors of Apple iPad 2 made thunders in the gadget market. From early 2010, we started hearing new specifications and features for iPad, that still controls the tablet market with more than 80 percent share.

According to new buzz, the leaked videos of upcoming iPad 2 justified the rumor mills. The technology giant Apple is also under pressure to retain their market share after the release of Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Motorola Xoom, which was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 in Las Vegas.

Most of the new tablets have high-end features that lack in Apple iPad. The new Motorola Xoom runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet that was exclusively made for tablets. Other tablets like RIM PlayBook, Dell Streak 7 and Asus also offer amazing features like dual cameras and powerful processors.

According to the leaked videos, iPad 2 has front facing camera for FaceTime video calling and a much larger speaker at the bottom of the device. Detailed specification is not available as the device in the video was a dummy version.


The latest rumors sounding high is that the Apple will launch iPad 2 in Feb 2011 and will hit the market by Apr. But, Apple hasn't given any official confirmation about the specification or the release date. The much hype on iPad 2 has made it as the most awaited gadget of 2011.
