Gondia police team in Yavatmal to nab Naxal
Yavatmal, Jan 12 (PTI) Acting on a tip off from aMaoist couple arrested in Gondia district recently, a manhunthas been launched to nab their accomplice who was stated to behiding in Yavatmal, police sources said today.
A five-member Gondia police team raided the rentedhouse of the alleged Naxal Jeevan Kolhe (30) near hereyesterday, but did not find him. However, they seized paperclippings, Naxal pamphlets and incriminatory documents fromthe spot in Sai Baba Nagar, they said.
Kolhe was residing in the house under the pretext thathe was working with a transport company for the last twoyears, the sources said.
Jeevan was allegedly involved in supplying informationto his counterparts in the Chandrapur-Gondia belt whilestaying in Yavatmal, they added.
