Apple CDMA iPhones to hit India soon

Mumbai, Jan 12: The technology giant Apple's latest move may not give you much excitement, but the new rumors after the arrival of non-exclusive CDMA iPhone may mahe you enthralled. Apple has announced the launch of CDMA iPhones through Verizon in United States on Tuesday, Jan 11. Now Apple is planning to launch the same iPhones in Asian market also.

Earlier, we had reported about Reliance CDMA iPhones and in near future, it may become a reality. The Verizon CDMA iPhones are not exclusive property. That means, Apple can team up with other carriers in United States and other parts of the world to launch CDMA iPhones.

Presently, iPhones are available in India through Bharti AirTel and Vodafone, which are GSM locked version. With launch of CDMA iPhones, users can avail better clarity and services. Apple may launch CDMA iPhones in India through Reliance Communications or Tata Docomo by mid 2011.

Most of the mobile users around the globe consider Apple iPhones as the best smartphone available in the market. It holds a great share in the handset market. But, with emerge of different smartphones with Google Android operating system, iPhones lost their market value. According to a new market research, Android mobiles over came the sales of iPhones in the last quarter of 2010.
