Snowy foggy weather causes plane crash; 72 dead

The Boeing 727 aircraft, which was moving from Tehran to the city of Urumiyeh, tried to land on farmland near Lake Orumiyeh.
Media report stated that the aircraft broke into several pieces on impact but did not explode.
A number of passengers were reportedly able to escape from the wreckage unharmed.
Rescue operation has been started but heavy snow and bad weather reportedly hampered the rescue efforts.
