Aarushi: CBI closing report under court's scanner

Aarushi Talwar
New Delhi, Jan 3: The key suspect in CBI's closing report on Aarushi murder case, Rajesh Talwar expressed his entrust on CBI and demanded for a review of the report.

As per his demand, a special CBI court in Ghaziabad on Monday, Jan 3 will examine the CBI's closure report which showed Aarushi's father Rajesh Talwar as the only suspect for the murder of Aarushi and their domestic help Hemraj.

According the sources, the special CBI court will decide whether the central probe agency's grounds for closing the case are valid or not.

The report of the CBI recommended the closure of the case as the motive for murder could not be established and neither could the murder weapon be recovered.

The sources also informed that the investigative agency likely to be asked to re-investigate the double murder case as pressure loomed over CBI after Law Minister Veerappa Moily on Dec 31 intervened in the case.
