Moily lashes out at CBI on Aarushi case

New Delhi, Dec 31: After the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) closed the case involving the brutal murder of teenager Aarushi Talwar on Thursday, Dec 30, the case has become the limelight because of the disappointing way the case was dealt with and the perpetrators let free due to lack of evidence.

The fact was pointed out by Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily who has stepped in to express his displeasure in the way the case has been handled by the CBI. The reason for the closure has been given as the motive of the murder could not be established and the murder weapon could not be retrieved.

Moily commented, "Such a brutal murder case not properly investigated and the accused not traced. I will definitely, seriously look into it."

Aarushi Talwar was brutally murdered in her Noida residence two and a half years back.The daughter of the dentist couple, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, they were shocked by the CBI's decision. The body of the domestic help, Hemraj was found in the terrace the very next day.

The Talwars are ready to move court against the CBI's decision. They have requested a re-probe into the case.
