India-Russia sign defence deal

New Delhi, Dec 21: The nuclear deal has been signed between India and Russia on Tuesday, Dec 21. The two nations signed 30 deals related to nuclear energy, defense and space research in Tuesday.

India and Russia signed agreements to design a project of fifth-generation fighter aircraft and to develop the capacity at Kudankulam nuclear plant.

India and Russia has agreed to build a fourth and third generating nuclear power plants in India's southern state of Tamil Nadu, according to sources.

Russian President Dimitry Medvedev landed up in India for two-day visit. The prime motive behind this visit is to sign 30 billion's of nuclear deal with India, sources said.
