Pak journalist MA Zuberi passed away

According to the Daily Times, Zuberi was suffering from multiple illnesses for years.
Zuberi founded two newspapers, an evening daily The Star and Daily Business Recorder in the mid 60s. He was also the patron in chief of a private TV channel.
He was born in Uttar Pradesh on July 2, 1920. He started his career in Delhi in 1945 and was assigned by Jinnah to publish independence edition of a daily on August 14, 1947.
His association with journalism spanned over 65 years.
His funeral will take place on Monday, Dec 13, at the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine in Karachi.
