IFS officer charged for sexual harassment

New Delhi, Nov 4: The Indian Foreign service (IFS) officer Dr Ketan Shukla has been alleged for sexually harassment on is maid continuously for 3 years when he was posted in Kenya. The maid lodged the complaint against Shukla at Moti nagar police station on Friday, Dec 3.

The police has registered the complaint under the IPC section 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal deterrence). Delhi police has started the investigation on complaint.

An police official said that, they has arranged for a medical examination of the maid and they are to get report soon.

The maid said that, she was repeatedly raped and tormented for 3 years while she was hired in kenya by Shukla and also she was threatened not to reveal about this to anyone.

However, Shukla has rejected all the allegations. He said, "some NGO has misguided her," he added, "I will take legal action, even defamation."
