Birth of baby on German pavement captured on Google Street View
London, Nov 24 (ANI): Google Street View has apparently captured the birth of a child on a German footpath, but some users say that it is almost certainly a hoax.
The photo, which was taken in the in the Berlin suburb of Wilmersdorf, shows a woman lying in the street after apparently giving birth while a kneeling man cradles the newborn baby, reports the Telegraph.
Another woman is shown crouching to support the head of the new mother beside a car that has been haphazardly parked on the road with its door open.
The photo, taken on Hubertusallee Street, has created considerable buzz on technology blogs, but most viewers have speculated that it may be a prank.
"There is a hospital across the street and they have no knowledge of a birth right in front of their door," wrote a German reader on Gizmodo website. In the house is also an advertising agency that has no knowledge of a birth in front of their house," he wrote.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for the image, which has been replaced by Google with a new photograph of the street.(ANI)
