DJing Brit granny is hottest new act on US clubbing circuit
London, Nov 10 (ANI): A British granny, who turned a DJ a few years ago, has become the hottest new act on the clubbing circuit in the US.
Ruth Flowers, 69, a. k. a. Mamy Rock, from Bristol, started as a DJ a few years ago after being inspired by a performer at her grandson's birthday party, Sky News reports.
She has since been spinning around Europe and more recently the US, where she has just performed her first gig at Anaheim's Electro Festival, to a packed crowd of 3,000.
While in LA, Mamy Rock also hit the recording studio for her next single, 69 - a nod to her age.
DJ Flowers' sets mix techno and dance and are peppered with rock by groups like Queen and the Rolling Stones. (ANI)
