Spy case: Pakistani gets 5-year in prison

New Delhi, Oct 28: A Delhi court on Thursday, Oct 28, sentenced a Pakistani national to five years and six months in jail and imposed a fine of Rs 7,000 for spying.

Ali was found guilty under the Official Secrets Act, the IPC and the Foreigners Act.

Delhi police's Special Cell arrested Ali on Sep 15, 2005 for entering India illegally from Pakistan's Rahimyar Khan district and for supplying secret information to Pakistan through courier.
