Nifty ends on -ve note
Mumbai, Oct 28: The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 19,941.04, down 64.33 points or 0.32 percent and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 24.95 points or 0.41 percent to settle at 5,987.70.
Bharti Airtel, HDFC, ONGC, Hero Honda, TCS, BPCL, HDFC Bank, Ambuja Cements, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto, Maruti, M&M and Tata Power were on buyers' radar.
BS TransComm, Gyscoal Alloys, ABG Shipyard, Orchid Chemical, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Infosys, SBI and HDFC Bank were the most active shares on exchanges.
SAIL, Reliance Power, Jaiprakash Asso were among the top losers.

Nifty gains power; touches 6050 mark
Though markets started a moderate trading on Oct 28, it gained some power in the following trade as NSE Nifty touched 6050 level but the volatility continued.
At 1:59 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20094, up 89 points and the Nifty was at 6040, up 27 points.
Hero Honda, HDFC and ONGC, which among the top gainers, were trading at 3.03 percent, 1.91 percent, 1.89 percent up respectively.
DLF, Jaiprakash Associates and Hindalco, who among the top losers, were trading at 1.58 percent, 1.52 percent, 1.39 percent down respectively.

Markets gain marginally amid volatility; SBI up
With support from the shares of auto, oil & gas and FMCG along with Bharti, SBI, TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank and HDFC, markets were trading with marginal gains amid volatility.
At 12:19 pm, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 20069, up 63 points and the Nifty was at 6032, up 19.75 points.
Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank and ONGC were among the top gainers, which were trading at 3.04 percent, 1.28 percent, 1.13 percent up respectively.
SAIL, Power Grid Corp and Hindalco were among the top losers, which were trading at 3.54 percent, 1.82 percent, 1.57 percent down respectively.

Markets begin on a +ve note; Infy, TCS up
Following the bying in the stocks of telecom, oil&gas, auto and IT, the markets began on a positive note on Thursday, Oct 28.
At 9:34 am, the Sensex was up 59.20 points or 0.30 percent at 20064.57, and the Nifty was up 17.60 points or 0.29 percent at 6030.25.
Bharti Airtel, RCom, Sesa Goa, Cairn, Maruti Suzuki, SBI, M&M, Ranbaxy, Cipla, Infosys, TCS and RIL, among the large cap space, were trading on green.
On the other side, SAIL, Siemens, NTPC, JP Associates and BHEL were trading on red at the beginning trade of markets.
