Half of all Brit workers would pay more than £100 to stay in bed
London, Oct 28 (ANI): Staying in bed for a day is almost a luxury for the majority of us who work several hours a day.
Now, a survey has revealed that nearly half of all workers would pay more than 100 pounds to spend the day in bed.
Forty-five per cent of full-time workers say they would fork out and 36 per cent admitted 'throwing a sickie' for a day in bed.
Those aged 16 to 24 are worst. Nearly six in 10 admit lying to avoid work.
People aged 55 and over are least likely to do so.
"A luxurious day in bed is considered a great treat," The Daily Express quoted Jessica Brown, of the Sleep Council which polled 1,000 workers, as saying. (ANI)
