Food inflation dips to 13.75 percent
This is the second consecutive week when food inflation has declined.
Essential items like pulses, cereals, milk and fruits became costlier. However, Potato became cheaper by 49.69 percent on annual basis.
Where as cereals prices have risen by 4.97 percent, wheat prices increased by 6.56 percent and rice prices by 3.49 percent.
On a year basis, the prices of vegetables went down marginally by 0.77 percent.
