Pakistan bomb blast: 6 killed, 15 injured

Pakpattan, Oct 26: At least 6 people were killed, including two women, and 15 were injured on Monday, Oct 25 in a bomb blast outside a Sufi shrine in Pakistan's Pakpattan city.

The blast was so powerful that it damaged the walls of the shrine and also the windowpanes of nearby buildings. Now the shrine is closed to visitors after the blast.

According to the witnesses, two unidentified youths parked a motorcycle outside the gates of the shrine and the blast occurred shortly thereafter at 6:20 am.

Police and rescue team reached the spot and injured were taken to the nearby hospitals in Lahore.

Officials said that 10kg of explosive was used in the blast and till now no group have claimed the responsibility of the blast.
