'Women want chivalrous men, not laddish folks'

Based on a survey of 2,000 people, the study found that men have finally realised that chivalrous behaviour is more attractive to women than simply a laddish attitude.
Two-fifths of men said they were now more likely to open doors and pull out chairs for prospective partners, while 52 percent of women said giving them a good compliment was the best way to romance with them.
While only seven percent of men still rely on corny chat-up lines, the survey found.
