Russia slams US over drug labs in Afghan

Washington, Oct 23: Months after the US failed to inform the drug laboratories in Afghanistan, Russia on Saturday, Oct 23 slammed the States officials for failing to cooperate with them.

The head of Russia's federal drug control agency, Victor Ivanov, says he provided US officials in Kabul months ago with the coordinates of 175 laboratories processing heroin.

Sources said he was informed by the US Drug Enforcement Agency officials that they were waiting for the US military approval to remove the labs.

Delaying in the operation Ivanov said there was no immediate track being done to destroy these laboratories.
