Brit prison governor's wife accused of naked romp with inmate serving life

London, Oct 22 (ANI): A British prison governor's wife has been accused of romping naked with an inmate who is serving a life sentence.

Nikki Colley, 38, who was an instructor in "thinking skills", aimed at convict rehabilitation, which involved one-to-one counselling, was allegedly found with convicted gunman Abidan Raphael, 30.

Raphael had shot security guard Robert Tough four times because he was turned away from a Kanye West concert in Birmingham in 2006 for having no ticket.

Colley was found in an embrace with Raphael, who is serving at least 20 years for attempted murder, in a side room of the gym at Whitemoor Prison by another officer.

"She was on the prison's thinking skills programme," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

"It is suspected that a relationship between this woman and Raphael had been going on for two or three weeks before it all ended up out in the open, so to speak," the source stated.

Colley's husband is of governor grade but he is not in charge of Whitemoor, near March, Cambs.

"An officer has resigned following allegations of an inappropriate relationship," the Prison Service said in a statement.

"The prison will be conducting an internal investigation in order to ascertain the circumstances around these allegations," the statement read. (ANI)
