Talks with US not just to discuss flood: Pak

Washington, Oct 15: Ahead of the US-Pakistan strategic talk, a representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Daniel Feldman stated that the talks would not be limited to flood strategies only, it would cover other spheres also.

Talking about the meeting, Feldman stated, "But we also have such important policy work to be done in those committees, we didn"t want to turn it just into a floods meeting."

"So there will also be a separate floods meeting during the course of that Strategic Dialogue," added Feldman.

The third ministerial-level Strategic Dialogue between US and Pakistan would helg in Washington from Oct 20 to Oct 22 and it would headed by States Secretary, Hillary Clinton and Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

According to US official, the countries would discuss about the role of US in pushing Pakistan to act firmly against terrorism and step up relief efforts in the wake of the devastating floods in the country.
