The museum houses an unequalled collection of dinosaur samples and other prehistoric fossils.

The Tianyu Museum of Nature, which is located in Pingyi county of Shandong Province opened in 2004 applied for a Guinness World Record in early June and received the confirmation off late, reports English.news.cn.

Covering an exhibition space of 28,000 square meters, the museum houses 1100 dinosaur specimens that are all represented by almost complete skeletons.

Moreover, the museum also has tens of thousands of other prehistoric fauna, such as birds and fish fossils.
