Chilean miners 'must prepare to be henpecked at home'
London, Oct 11 (ANI): Chilean miners, who are about to be rescued after months-long ordeal under ground, should prepare themselves to face another at home. former submarine commander who survived months under the sea has warned that the men could become involved in power tussles with their wives when they finally reach home.
"They have got to assimilate back into the family and sorting out who's boss is going to be one of the major challenges," The Telegraph quoted Cdr Jeff Tall, who played a key part in the submarine command during the Falklands war, as saying.
"You have left behind your wife who has run the family and all of a sudden you are back and although you are not an intruder she will want to share all the burdens now and some of the miners won't be ready for it," he added.
The miners were trapped 2,067ft underground when part of the San Jose mine collapsed on 5 August. Rescuers completed the drilling of a shaft wide enough to raise the men on Saturday morning and expect to be ready to bring the first man up on Wednesday. (ANI)
