Heavy rain, flood paralyze Bihar

Patna, Sep 26: Heavy rain and massive flood did not only hit north India, but it showed its wrath in Bihar also as many villages have been submerged and houses collapsed in and around Patna.

The district in Bihar, Danapur Diyara was the worst affected.

People from the district complained that their houses have been awash for several days.

Those who live in low-lying areas have been forced to leave their homes after the Ganga breached its banks. Many were left stranded after roads were cut off by floodwaters, or closed as a precautionary measure.
