Google to launch web browser Chrome 7 soon

California, Sep 17: The search engine giant, Google Inc, will announce the launch of the latest version of it's web browser Chrome.

Google officials claimed that the new version, Chrome 7, will be 60 times faster than the previous version. Google released the details about the Chrome 7, which will have superior graphics performance via GPU acceleration.

"These early numbers show up to 60x speed improvement over the current version of Google Chrome. With Google Chrome"s fast release cycles, we expect to be able to get these enhancements to users quickly and add new performance improvements over time," said James Robinson, software engineer.

Google also released update for Chrome 6 browser to fix 10 security holes.
