RIL world's 2nd top shareholder value creator: BCG

Boston, Sep 10: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), led by Mukesh Ambani, has grabbed the second place in the list of most 'sustainable value creators' made by Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Sustainable value creators referred to those companies, who have been successful in creating the most shareholder value over the last decade.

BCG is its report titled "Threading the Needle: Value Creation in a Low-Growth Economy" said, "One side effect of the Great Recession has been to accelerate the ascent of companies from rapidly developing economies to the top ranks of the world's creators of shareholder value."

The ranking identifies large global companies with a market capitalization of at least 35 billion dollars that have been the "most successful at sustaining superior value creation over 10 years.
