I don't take Lalu seriously: Nitish Kumar

Patna, Sep 10: With the Bihar assembly polls just days away, a war of words between political rivals, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is heating up.

"Lalu is a person of excessive credulous belief...I hardly care for his statement...I don't take what Lalu says seriously," Kumar said, reacting to Lalu's earlier potshot over his decision to not contest in the upcoming polls.

The RJD leader had said that Nitish Kumar was not contesting as he has conceded defeat "much before the elections".

The chief ministerial candidate of RJD-LJP alliance had told reporters, "In fact, Kumar has lost confidence...he is proving to be a ranchhor (battle-deserter) commander with the NDA defeat becoming certain in the coming elections."
