Jora Singh appointed Punjab and Haryana High Court judge

New Delhi, Sep.8 (ANI): President Pratibha Patil on Wednesday appointed Justice Jora Singh to be a Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court,

"In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Jora Singh, Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, to be a Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office, a Rashtrapati Bhavan release stated.
