14 dead due to doctors' strike in Johdpur

Jaipur, Sep 6: At least 14 people including seven infants have reportedly died at a Jodhpur hospital since Sunday, Sep 5 after resident doctors in Rajasthan went on strike.

The strike has been called to protest the alleged lathicharge by police on Saturday, Sep 4 at the MDM Medical College in which over 60 students and doctors were injured.

The President of Resident Doctors Dr Krishnakant Sahu said that they wanted all police officials involved in the lathicharge suspended immediately. He added that at least 28 resident doctors were injured in the lathicharge.
