TCS' UK branch grabs 250 million pound contract

New Delhi, Sep 2: Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) UK based firm, Diligenta acquired 250 million pounds contracts of two life and pension.

"TCS set up Diligenta to specialize in the provision of BPO services for the UK life and pensions industry," said TCS official.

He also continued, "These new wins further cement the company's position amongst the largest providers of such services in the UK market and demonstrates our ability to closely partner with our customers."

The BPO service provider, Diligenta in UK has won major business from Phoenix Group and Old Mutual International and the contract has been extended till 2018.

Software firm, TCS informed that with the contract, the number of policies that Diligenta now administers, will rise from 3.6 million to over five million.
