Aussie crocodile predicts Oz PM's win in election

. Here comes the new oracle, Harry, the Aussie Croc.

The saltwater crocodile, Harry, picked Australian prime minister as winner of federal election in a snap poll in Darwin on Thursday, Aug 19. The Australian media reported that Harry picked Julia Gillard as the winner of the election. Media also revealed that in Jul 2010 the Aussie croc predicted the victory of Spain in FIFA World Cup 2010.

The 720 kg weighed Harry was given the choice of munching on one of two chicken carcasses, one tied to an image of Prime Minister Julia Gillard and the other attached to a picture of opposition leader Tony Abbott. After about five minutes, Harry opened its jaws and crunched down on the meat attached to Gillard.

"He saw the future and I think he might have something going with Paul the octopus," said Nigel Palmer, the reptile"s handler.

Earlier during the FIFA World Cup in Jul 2010, the German psychic octopus Paul become a global star. Paul had predicted the outcome of the football World Cup matches with 100 per cent accuracy.
