Change names to escape misspent youth: Google CEO

By Abdul Nisar

google ceo Eric Schmidt
Washington, Aug 18: Google chief executive officer (CEO), Eric Schmidt, suggested the young people to change their names when they reach adulthood to escape their misspent youth.

In an interview with Wall Street Journal, Eric Schmidt told that every young person will one day be allowed to change their name to keep themselves from embarrassing photographs and materials stored on their friends' social media sites.

"I don't believe society understands what happens when everything is available, knowable and recorded by everyone all the time," said Schmidt.

He also predicted that in future Google will know so much about its users that the search engine will be able to help them to plan their lives. Using profiles of it customers and tracking their locations through their smart phones, Google will be able to provide live updates on their surroundings and inform them of tasks they need to do.

"We are trying to figure out what the future of search is, I actually think most people don't want Google to answer their questions. They want Google to tell them what they should be doing next," he added.
