Brit woman on trial for 'kicking three-inch stiletto heel' into boyfriend's eye socket

London, Aug 3(ANI): A British woman fractured her boyfriend's eye socket, and burst a blood vessel in his brain when she kicked him with a three-inch stiletto heel, a trial heard.

The Bradford Crown Court heard that Petite Staci Hargreaves rammed her shoe into Gavin Taylor's left eye during a drunken bust-up in a taxi.

The attack was said to have happened at 2a.m. after the couple had a night out in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Prosecutor David McGonigal said that after several hours of drinking in a party in Huddersfield, the couple along with another person had taken a 28-pound taxi ride home.

Taylor sat in the front with Hargreaves and their friend behind, but a row erupted and Hargreaves "kicked out", with her black stiletto going straight through Taylor's eye.

The taxi driver, Mohammed Akbar, said that Taylor and Hargreaves had begun arguing and swearing at each other soon after they set off.

"There was a commotion, like a punch-up. Then a leg came between the two seats, it was quick," The Sun quoted Akbar, as having told the court.

Hargreaves' friend Emily Bracknett had earlier said that she had seen Taylor slap her face.

Hargreaves denies causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and an alternative charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm. (ANI)
