New York, Jul 31: Unlike the frantic character of the father of the bride immortalised by Steve Martin in the movie that goes by the same name, former US president Bill Clinton is not only calm but is also full of admiration for his soon to be son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky.
"I like him very much," the Democrat said.
"I really do. I admire him. Hillary feels the same way," he added when asked about his daughter, Chelsea Clinton's long time boyfriend and fiance.
Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Clinton have arrived in the New York village, Rhinebeck, where a grand wedding ceremony is set to take place on Saturday, Jul 31 evening.
The former first lady and current Secretary of State was spotted in a long, green dress.
The mother of the bride waved at the large crowds of onlookers, who came to catch a glimpse of the leaders.
While Bill Clinton seemed rather relaxed in blue jeans and a black knit shirt; the bride Chelsea, looked exhausted in the pictures captured by the media when she was catching a cab in New York On Friday, Jul 30.
