Man jailed for downloading child pornography pics

Melbourne, Jul 26: An Australian Ian David Blundell, 31, has been sentenced to five years imprisonment for downloading 60,000 "depraved and disgusting" child pornography images.

According to Times Of India report, Blundell has downloaded 56,767 pornographic images, 1608 videos and 963 stories displaying child pornography in years between 2005 and 2008.

Victorian County Court judge Sue Pullen said that the pornography was of "the most depraved and disgusting kind and the worst sexual exploitation of children as some of them were babies".

The culprit,Blundell who is illiterate has accessed the pornography at home and locked himself in his bedroom to do so.

The judge Pullen said the courts will have to reflect community's outrage at such offences in sentencing child pornography offenders.
