Husband kills pregnant wife

Rewari (Haryana), Jul 26: A man killed his pregnant wife after suspecting her of having an extra-marital affair, said police on Sunday Jul 25.

Sachin Yadav (21) surrendered himself to the Model Town police today and confessed the crime.

The body of wife Sheetal Yadav was lifted from a well in Gheelawas village of Gurgaon district.

Sachin told to the police that he had thrown Sheetal's body into the well after strangulating her to death on Jul 16. He also reportedly told them that he suspected his wife of having an extra marital affair which led him to the crime

The couple got married in 2009 from the Najafgarh area of Delhi and was pregnant. It was when Sheetal mother Kailsah Devi filed a complaint on Jul 17 and Model town police registered a case of disappearance.

Subsequently the accused was arrested and he himself confessed the crime, said the police.
