Pacheco to spend two nights in custody
Panaji, Jul 24: Former Tourism Minister Fransisco Mickey Pacheco of Goa who was granted bail after the arrest of forgery case filed by his estranged wife, will have to spend two more nights in judicial custody as his verdict on the Nadia Torrado death case is pending.
He was remanded to 14 days' judicial custody after his police custody expired in the death case.
Further, police have also opened three more case of forgery case against Pacheco. It was one of the three cases that led him to arrest. Now he has been transferred to Sada sub-Jail, where he will spend two nights behind the bars.
This former minister went into more troubles after female friend Nadia died on May 30.It was not surprising that the 28-year-old woman had consumed poison on May 15 and was shifted to various hospitals at Margao (Goa), Thane (Mumbai) and Chennai.
