Reddy brothers not guilty: Yeddyurappa

New Delhi, Jul 19: "There are no charges against the Reddy brothers. I give them clean chit," said Yeddyurappa to the media persons in New Delhi on Sunday, Jul 18.

This Chief Minister's statement comes after G Janardhan Reddy and G Karuanakar Reddy met senior BJP leaders including Sushma Swaraj. They also met Yeddyurappa at the Karnataka Bhavan in the national capital on Sunday, Jul 18.

However, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, did not say anything about CBI probe into the illegal mining, which the opposition is demanding.

After, meeting, Janardhan Reddy said, "We are united. It was courtesy call. No one has summoned us. We have already met all top leaders and explained them our stand. If the opposition party proves the charges we will resign. Why should we resign on just allegations?"

The meeting between the Reddy brothers and the Chief Minister at the Karnataka Bhawan in New Delhi came a day after Yeddyurappa held a series of meetings with Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram, L K Advani and Nitin Gadkari.
