Bhopal Memorial chairman Ahmadi resigns
New Delhi, Jul 19: Former Chief Justice A M Ahmadi resigned from his chairman post from the Bhopal Memorial Hospital Trust.
The Supreme Court on Monday, Jul 19 accepted Ahmadi's resignation.
The central government's application, to take over the hospital set up for the victims of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, had been approved by the Supreme Court.
The trust headed by Chief Justice S H Kapadia asked the central government to take a final decision about the trust.
The court appreciated Ahmadi's works, which he rendered in his long service as the chairman of Bhopal Memorial Hospital Trust.
