Pak tops the world in internet searches for porn

Islamabad, Jul 16: While Pakistan has been making news for blocking scores of websites, the country has now claimed a scandalous rank on internet by topping the porn searches per person across the world.

Google search trends has disclosed that the Islamic republic has been searching for terms like 'horse sex', 'donkey sex', 'rape sex', 'rape pictures' and many more.

Pak also led the searches under the categories of sex, camel sex, rape video, child sex video and others terms and categories which the media can not print as it would offend moral and legal yardsticks.

A Fox News report has dubbed the country "top dog in searches for 'horse sex', since 2004, 'donkey sex' since 2007, 'rape pictures' and 'rape sex' since 2004, 'child sex' between 2004 and 2007 and since 2009, 'animal sex' since 2004 and 'dog sex' since 2005".

In the recent past, Pak had made waves on the internet for banning as many as 17 websites for offensive or blasphemous material. Besides this, the country is also monitoring seven other websites for anti-Islamic content. The list includes Google, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube, Amazon, MSN and Hotmail.

"So here's the irony: Google ranks Pakistan No 1 in the world in searches for pornographic terms, outranking every other country in the world in searches per person for certain sex-related content," the Fox News report points out.
