Robert Kennedy Jr. 'files for divorce from wife of 16 years'
Toronto, July 14 (ANI): Robert Kennedy Jr. has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife of 16 years.
A New York newspaper is reporting that the son of former Democratic senator Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of former president John F. Kennedy filed divorce papers May 12 - three days before his wife was charged with drunk driving.
The Journal News of the Lower Hudson Valley reported said that details about the grounds for the filing were not available, reports the Globe and Mail.
Kennedy Jr. is a noted environmentalist and law professor at New York's Pace University.
The couple has four children. He had two other children from a previous marriage.
The divorce will be Kennedy's second if it is finalized. (ANI)
