Taiwan university student owns up to poo eating video clip prank
Kuala Lumpur, July 12 (ANI): A university student in Taiwan, who was filmed apparently eating his own faeces after Germany lost its World Cup semi-final match to Spain, has owned up that the video clip is a prank.
The student, known only as Chen, had earlier boldly proclaimed that he would do so if Germany was defeated in the match.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the two-minute video clip posted on YouTube showed Chen taking three mouthfuls of slimy stuff from a paper container while in a toilet.
He appeared to be in agony when he took the first mouthful, and was also seen on the verge of throwing up several times.
Some of the students who were with him could be heard commenting.
"It's smelly, it's smelly," the Star Online quoted them as saying.
More than 6,000 people saw the clip, most of them describing it as a disgusting act, while others praised him for keeping his word.
But, Chen reportedly confessed later that the clip was a prank. (ANI)
