Meet the 'Donkey' who loves to guzzle cold beer on a hot day!

Melbourne, July 12 (ANI): An Aussie man's pet donkey has become a local celebrity, thanks to his love to guzzle cold beers on a hot day.

Known simply as 'Donkey', Jens Waldenmayer's pet is famous among residents of Spencer Road at Darwin River for his love of beer.

"I think he is a real Territorian donkey. He loves his beer," the Northern Territory News quoted Waldenmayer as saying.

Donkey's drinking began almost 2 years ago after he wandered over to a neighbour's property to chew the grass with a couple horses.

When the neighbour came over to pat him, the cheeky creature went for his beer - and the habit stuck.

But Waldenmayer doesn't encourage the trend.

"He is not allowed in the house. If he was he would probably sit on the couch too," he said. (ANI)
