Dad accused of beating son to death for not going to sleep
Melbourne, July 12 (ANI): A Texas father has been accused of beating his six-year-old son to death because he wouldn't go to bed.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Alex McGowen Duncan, 34, is accused of subjecting Tekerrious Jackson to at least two weeks of abuse after the six-year-old came to stay with him for the summer.
The child would be forced to kneel down and raise his hands over his head he did not go to sleep, police said.
Duncan would then allegedly repeatedly punch the child in the chest, reports News.com.au.
A seizure and eight hours of punishment later, the child was taken to Texas Children's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. (ANI)
