London, July 11 (ANI): British Prime Minister David Cameron has revealed that he is terrified at the thought of sending his kids to a state secondary school because there are so few good comprehensives close to No10.

"There aren't enough good school places, that's the problem. And that's why we're trying to have more good schools," News of the World quoted Cameron, as saying.

"I've got a six-year-old and a four-year-old and I'm terrified living in central London. Am I going to find a good secondary school for my children? I feel it as a parent, let alone a politician," he added.

Cameron's six-year-old daughter Nancy, goes to a state Church of England primary, a few miles from home but he is worried over where to send her and son Elwyn when they reach 11.

He, further, said that he is determined to send his kids to state schools and this has strengthened his resolve to raise standards with the new "free" schools.

"In some parts of the country, there isn't a choice of good schools and that's why people break the bank to send their children private. We all pay our taxes and there should be really good state schools available for all," he added. (ANI)
