Lady lawyer stabbed to death in Karnataka HC

Bangalore, Jul 8: A woman lawyer has been stabbed to death on the first floor of Karnataka High Court on Thursday, Jul 8.

The deceased, Naveena and the attacker Rajappa, both were advocates at the High Court. The court had been adjourned for the day, after the murder.

The accused tried to commit suice by slitting his throat after stabbing the lady lawyer to death.

Police has arrested the accused. Police said that the incident was the aftermath of a love affair.

Naveena who was working as Rajappa's assistant got ahead with another alliance which her family fixed for her, which created the dispute between both and finally ended with a murder, informed the police.

Rajappa is being treated at a city hospital.
