Premature birth boy is now bigger than kids twice his age

London, July 07 (ANI): British boy Nathan Sciberras was given a one in a million chance of surviving after being born at 23 weeks but is now growing so quickly he is bigger than children twice his age.

Nathan is now a healthy 3 feet 1 inches tall tot who is bigger than friends of his four-year-old brother Joshua.

"They said the baby had a one-in-a-million chance of surviving," 28-year-old mother Cara said.

"I was in labour for 14 hours and just crying because I was convinced he would be stillborn.

"He grew bigger every day and at two months we started to believe hat he would survive," she added

Nathan will starts pre-school in September and 2010. He weighs 23 lbs 3 oz, reports The Sun.

"We feel so lucky to have him," Nathan's father Michael said. (ANI)
