Pak-China to participate in joint anti-terror exercise
Islamabad, July 2 (ANI): A special contingent of the Pakistan army would be taking part in a joint anti-terror exercise with the Chinese military.
Special forces from both countries including the Chinese Air Force, as well as senior military commanders, will join the week-long exercises dubbed Friendship, a statement issued by the Pakistan Army stated.
President Asif Ali Zardari is to visit China from July 6 to 11 for talks with President Hu Jintao and Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.
The Sino-Pakistan relationship has seen greater commitments in the recent past with Beijing defending its nuclear cooperation with Islamabad despite Washington's apprehensions.
