Man held for chopping wife

Ghaziabad, Jul 1: A man was arrested on Wednesday, Jun 30 for killing his wife as he suspected her of having poisoned his mother eight years ago.

Riyaz Ahmad, a father of four murdered his wife Ashima Khatun and hired a man for chopping her body into three pieces for Rs 4,000 and dumped them in a drain, has been arrested on his minor son"s complaint.

After his confession, police recovered a bag containing some parts of his wife"s body from a drain near Dasna jail.
