Israel attacks Hamas targets in Gaza
Gaza, Jul 1: Israeli warplanes attacked underground tunnels used by militant group Islamic Hamas movement in Gaza Strip.
Israeli F16 jets fired two rockets at a target in the area of the inoperative Gaza airport east of the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, causing severe damage, but no injuries were reported.
F16 warplanes also targeted Al Qassam Brigades, armed wing of Hamas.
Israel attacked the targets in retaliation to earlier homemade rocket attack on a factory in southern Israel.
